
Dr. J’nai Adams
M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration
Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, J’nai is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a B.A. in English and Political Science. J’nai received her M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from North Carolina State University. In December 2020, J’nai successfully defended her dissertation entitled, Making Our Own Way: Exploring the Experiences of Mid-level Black Women Student Affairs Professionals Thriving at Southern Historically White Institutions.
J’nai currently serves as the Associate Director in the Center for Multicultural Affairs at Duke University which she joined in August 2013 as a Student Development Coordinator. J’nai is an advocate for all students and finds it especially gratifying developing relationships with students, campus and community partners in hopes of creating a more inclusive campus environment.

Demetria L. Cox-Thomas
Masters of Science in Human Nutrition
Demetria Latrice Cox-Thomas aka Dee Dee is a May 2021 graduate of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC with a Masters of Science in Human Nutrition. Born & raised in Charlotte, NC; the wife of Brandon Thomas, mother to Desiraye, and daughter of the late Robert & Ruth Cox previously earned her B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Administration from North Carolina Central University. Dee Dee currently works at Southminster Retirement Community as their Community Garden Manager, where she grows veggies that are donated to a local non profit for distribution in the local community. During her studies, she worked for a non profit that taught local elementary students how to grow food, earned several scholarships and recognitions from The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and served on the Human Nutrition Advisory Board. Her love for everything food comes from her dad who taught her how to cook & grow her food. Post graduation plans include completing the 1000 hr Dietetic Internship she was accepted to and passing the Registered Dietitian exam to receive her credential. She looks forward to combining her passions of growing food with her Dietetics career.

Mr. Keenan Ingram
Associate Degree in Broadcasting and Technology Productions
The son of Phillip and Sherrie Ingram. A 2020 fall graduate from CPCC . I have an Associate degree in Broadcasting and Technology productions. I currently am working at Amazon and in process of making my YouTube channel. In the future I will be doing reaction videos sports commentary and possible even seeking broadcasting jobs that are available. I want to have my own series on YouTube similar to a TV series

Olivia Dominque Henderson
West Charlotte High School Graduate
I am the daughter of Randy and Claudette Henderson. I am a student at West Charlotte High School, and will graduate in June, 2021. I have been accepted into East Carolina University, in Greenville, North Carolina, where I plan to major in Psychology. I was in the R.O.T.C in High School, so I will also join the R.O.T.C. in East Carolina University. I plan to enter the Air Force upon completion of College. I am a member of First Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where I am a member of the Fine Arts Ministry.
